We have a reputation with them for excellent service, approachability and good communication with advisers and their clients. We are also proud to have strong working links with the Institute of Money Advisers, where our CEO is currently treasurer and a board member.

Our team includes people with utility, commercial and charity backgrounds, bringing a wide knowledge base and understanding of the issues. We have qualified money/debt advisers and a dedicated energy-efficiency adviser.

The whole picture

Handling 25,000+ applications from vulnerable customers a year takes particular personal skills. Our grant assessors are able to look at the whole picture of an applicant's situation. They see what other help people may need to make a difference in their lives, such as checking if they're on the right benefits. Or in some cases, the grant will help the applicant with other needs essential to improve their quality of life.

Our team also recognise and know how to address the needs of different groups, such as older people or people with mental health difficulties.
