Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to build and run a program management capability, to project manage complex projects across the Auriga business, and to build and deliver a Data Analysis and reporting capability using data to inform business decisions. This role requires strong project and service management skills which could be applied across IT, Finance, HR, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs while also contributing to the development and optimization of program management processes within the organisation. There will be an emphasis on Business Analysis and use of Data.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources, including internal team members, vendors, and consultants, to ensure successful project execution.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Establish and maintain project and program management standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Develop and implement project management tools and templates to standardise project documentation and reporting.
- Undertake Third Party Contract and Supplier Management.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to best practices and organisational standards.
- Conduct project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Data and Reporting:
- Build a reporting capability that turns data into information which informs the executive of the performance of the business.
- Undertake trend analysis and make recommendations based on data with an understanding of the business requirements.
- Undertake process analysis, documentation, and optimisation.
- Provide insights from Operational, IT and Finance Data sources which drive delivery of the business objectives.
- Undertake data collection and cleansing; data analysis; reporting, manipulation, and visualisation of Data; and facilitate data driven decision making.
Qualifications:
- Prince2/PMP, and Lean Six Sigma training is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
- Experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- An understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
- Strong data and analytical skills with experience in reporting and process improvement.
- Experience in Data harvesting, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience in Dynamics is highly beneficial.
