Auriga shares festive joy by donating Christmas gifts to Home Start
In the UK there are 1 million children under the age of 11 that face Christmas without a warm home, food or receive any Christmas presents.
The charity Home Start supports families through challenging times and believes that the earliest years make the biggest impact on children’s lives. Last year alone they helped 56,000 children in 27,000 families across the UK. During this festive period they collect gifts which will be distributed to children they are supporting.
Here at Auriga, we are supporting Home Start with their gift collecting as we believe every child deserves a gift at Christmas. The staff have kindly donated toys to this fantastic charity.
Carol Arnold, Commercial Director at Auriga comments ‘’It is absolutely heart breaking to hear that there are 1 million children in the UK that are suffering not just on Christmas Day but all year round. The Auriga team have supported the fantastic charity donating 101 toys for children which will be distributed by Home Start during this Christmas period”.
Auriga wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
