Our parent charity, Evnia, has launched its Emergency Community Response Grant Funding, designed to help not-for-profit and charities deliver fast, practical relief to people facing financial hardship.

Grants of up to £25,000

Eligible organisations can apply for funding of up to £25,000, available for projects running over as long as 12 months. The fund is built to support both immediate crisis response and, where possible, activity that helps build longer-term financial resilience for the people it reaches.

What the fund wants to support

Evnia is looking to fund organisations that can move quickly and reach people who often struggle to access mainstream support. The funding places particular emphasis on underfunded essentials: hygiene products, baby items, clothing, and digital access.

The fund welcomes proposals that help remove barriers, whether that’s to education, employment, essential services, or simply getting through daily life, with a strong preference for projects that can be delivered rapidly to those most at risk of being left out.

To be eligible, an organisation needs to:

  • Be not-for-profit
  • Operate within the West Midlands
  • Have a governing document and organisational bank account
  • Be able to demonstrate it can deliver the proposed activity

This covers a wide range of structures, including constituted community groups, registered charities and CIOs, Companies Limited by Guarantee, Community Interest Companies, and Community Benefit Societies.

How to apply

Prospective applicants are encouraged to start with an initial conversation with Auriga’s Organisational Funding Manager, who can help assess suitability and support the application before submission.

To get started or find out more, contact communitygrants@aurigaservices.co.uk or call 07535 824136. Full application forms and guidance are available on the Evnia Emergency Funding page.
