Auriga Services partners with London & Quadrant Housing Trust to provide money and debt advice to their residents
We are pleased to announce a new partnership between London & Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) and Auriga Services. Auriga are proud to have been appointed as L&Q’s money and debt advice partner, providing residents with access to free, tailored advice across debt advice, welfare rights support and energy advice, all backed by a high-quality triage service as part of the Your Money programme.
The partnership reflects L&Q’s ongoing commitment to support their residents’ financial wellbeing. From October 2026, L&Q residents will be able to access:
- Benefits and income advice: checking entitlement to benefits and financial support, help with applications and evidence, challenging benefit decisions, and finding charitable grants for essential household costs.
- Support with arrears: understanding options for rent, water and energy arrears, and building a realistic household budget.
- Independent living support: where appropriate, help applying for a Blue Badge, discounted travel, occupational therapy assessments and home adaptations.
- Debt advice: reviewing income, spending and debts, prioritising what to deal with first, negotiating manageable repayments with creditors, explaining options including Debt Relief Orders and bankruptcy, responding to court and collection correspondence, and referring to specialist services where needed.
- Energy advice: tailored energy awareness and efficiency guidance to help reduce bills, and support understanding energy bills, standing charges and household energy use.
Matt Bayliss, Head of Foundation, L&Q, comments, “Through this partnership, our residents who are facing financial difficulty will be able to access free, confidential support that is tailored to their circumstances. This will provide our residents with financial confidence and independence. We look forward to seeing the impact of this partnership and the positive difference it will create for our residents.”
Beccy Wardle, CEO, highlights, “Worrying about money affects every part of life, and too often, people reach crisis point before they are able to access help. Building financial resilience means residents are better equipped to manage unexpected costs and changes in circumstances and know where to turn when they need support. We’re proud to partner with L&Q to give residents practical advice and help them feel more in control of their finances.”
Auriga are pleased to be working with L&Q and look forward to the positive impact this will have on their residents.
