Auriga shortlisted for UK Social Enterprise of the Year

We are delighted to share that Auriga have been shortlisted as finalists in the UK Social Enterprise of the Year category of the UK Social Enterprise Awards. This category is the overall award for a social enterprise that has a clear vision, excellence in impact, and that has demonstrated and promoted social enterprise beyond the sector.

Auriga is a non-for-profit organisation that changes lives every day. We exist to enable people to come out of debt, and rebuild their lives from a position of strength. Our vision is to help 2 million people by 2020.

Mark Abrams, Auriga’s CEO said ‘we are thrilled to be shortlisted as finalists for this year’s awards, along with the other organisations in the UK Social Enterprise of the Year 2017. Our employees are committed and passionate about helping those who are vulnerable in our community; this is shown through the thousands of vulnerable people we help every working day. To be recognised in this category is yet another great accomplishment for us.’

The UK Social Enterprise Awards identify organisations for their business excellence and contribution to society, as well as the achievements of people working at the heart of the sector.

Auriga will be attending the ceremony, which will take place on Thursday 23rd November in Westminster’s beautiful Royal Horticultural Halls.
