Deborah is 46 years old and lives with her daughter. She is currently in receipt of Universal Credit and Statutory Sick Pay and have been off work for 12 months due to a range of physical health conditions.

Upon completing an initial assessment with Deborah, we identified that they should be in receipt of Personal Independence Payment and began to assess how their health conditions impact them against the PIP scoring descriptors.

After completing their PIP and assessment and supporting them in submitting their claim, Deborah was awarded the enhanced rate for both daily living and mobility which will see them receive £187.05 a week indefinitely. We then proceeded in supporting Deborah with submitting an application for a Blue Badge in light of their disabilities as well which has been awarded.

On top of their PIP claim and Blue Badge, we were also able to support in acquiring a new washing machine as their previous washing machine as theirs had been broken for a number of months. Deborah has been very happy with the work that we have completed on their behalf and is very grateful for the appliance
