63-year-old Julie was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure 20 years ago and has dialysis three times a week. Each dialysis session lasts four hours. While receiving treatment a nurse suggested she saw Auriga’s outreach advisor.
Lisa is a single parent of three young children. Her nine-year-old suffers with Autism, Asperger’s and social anxiety. Her five years old has ADHD and she suffers with depression and anxiety.
Kate lives with her children, she is seriously ill, and is cared for by her family. She has cataracts, asthma and spondylitis which means she has extreme mobility issues.
